Radio and TV Notes in Connecticut

Mark Davis of WTNH TV News Channel 8 will return to radio for a day on Thursday from 9AM to noon on WTIC AM. Davis hosted "Dial Mark Davis" on WTIC from 1980 to 1987, a general-interest talk show that aired weeknights. Starting in 1984, Davis reported and anchored for WTNH during the day, and did the radio show every night.
(The spot is open because the station jettisoned Jim Vicevich. Word is that Milford's Tom Scott may be interested in the gig. His politics certainly fit the right-wing talk.)

WQUN-AM, Quinnipiac University’s commercial radio station, has signed a new two-year agreement with Entercom’s WRKO Red Sox Radio Network to continue broadcasting Boston Red Sox games. Now if the Red Sox could figure out how to win a game...

CPTV’s new documentary, PERFECTION…AGAIN!, features a look back at the entire history-making season of the University of Connecticut Women’s Basketball Team. It airs Sunday at 3:30 and 7 p.m.
