COMCAST LAUNCHES 29 NEW CHANNELS IN THE BRANFORD AREA
With Completion of First Phase of Network Upgrade in Branford, East Haven and Madison,
Company Launches More HD and Digital Programming in Three Towns
BRANFORD, CT – (December 15, 2010) – Comcast, Connecticut’s leading provider of entertainment, information and communications products and services, today announced the launch of 29 new channels and the availability of three new sports Pay-Per-View packages in the communities of Branford, East Haven and Madison, completing the upgrade of its fiber-optic network in these three communities.
In October, Comcast announced it would be enhancing its network in the Branford system in two phases, paving the way for the launch of more high definition (HD) and On Demand choices and other digital benefits. The completion of the first phase of the project in Branford, East Haven and Madison today resulted in the launch of 20 high definition (HD) channels, nine new digital channels and three sports Pay-Per-View sports packages. The second phase is expected to take place next year and will include the towns of Guilford, North Branford, North Haven and Wallingford.

The 29 new channels and sports Pay-Per-View packages can be found on Comcast’s channel lineup in Branford, East Haven and Madison as follows:
