Company Launches More HD and Digital Programming In Two Towns

Following Completion of Network Upgrade

BRANFORD, CT – (March 29, 2011) – Comcast, Connecticut’s leading provider of entertainment, information and communications products and services, today announced the launch of 29 new channels and the availability of three new sports Pay-Per-View packages in the communities of Guilford and North Branford, completing the upgrade of its fiber-optic network in these two communities.

Comcast has been enhancing its network in the Branford system in two phases, paving the way for the launch of more high definition (HD) and On Demand choices and other digital benefits. The first phase of the project was completed in Branford, East Haven and Madison in December and the second phase began in January in the towns of Guilford, North Branford, North Haven and Wallingford. These channel additions signify the completion of the network upgrade in Guilford and North Branford. North Haven and Wallingford are expected to conclude in May.
