Free concerts by CT Army Nat. Guard 102nd Band

CONNECTICUT ARMY NATIONAL GUARD’S 102nd ARMY BAND ANNOUNCES SUMMER CONCERT SCHEDULE

HARTFORD, Conn., - the Connecticut Army National Guard’s premiere 102nd Army Band of Rockville, begins its 2013 summer concert schedule beginning Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at Memorial Boulevard in Bristol, Conn.

 The 102d performs at many venues throughout the state each year including veteran’s homes, town greens, and city band shells.

Within the 102d Army Band, there are several musical groups which play a variety of music from classical, jazz, show tunes, as well as rock and many others. In addition to the concert band, the unit has a Jazz band, a rock band, a brass quintet and a

Dixieland band.
