More events we don't want to overlook for 4-27 in New Haven area

Artist Robert Buda will be hosting an artist's reception at Sage on the Water Restaurant in New Haven on Sunday, April 27th from 3 until 5 p.m.

New paintings will be on exhibit, and complimentary wine and cheese will be served. The restaurant is located at 100 South Water St. in New Haven.

Above: "Wavelength"    36" X 48" is a recent painting. It is acrylic on canvas. It, along with several other "ocean" series works will be on display and for sale. ($2,400.)

The Branford Folk Music Society will celebrate a 40th anniversary gala Sunday at the Italian American Club in Branford, with food and performing artists.
The society holds concerts the second Saturday of the month in the hall of the Congregational Church on the Branford Green.

And, at Kehler Liddell Gallery, 873 Whalley Avenue, New Haven:
The exhibit, OIL + WATER, is the Gallery’s spring group show and will be on display through Sunday, May 25. There is an Opening Reception on Friday, May 9 from 6pm - 9pm, and a number of events coordinated with Westville’s 17th annual ArtWalk on May 10. The show will feature works by all 25 Kehler Liddell Gallery member artists.
