Matt Ellenthal of Wilton, Conn., above, pours a taste of Negroni, one of the new line of cocktails finished in oak barrels from the company he founded with his wife, Martha, called
Barrelsmith. The couple experimented for years to create the mixed spirit drinks. Matt worked in a tech company involved in casinos; Martha recently served as Director of Fine Wines at ReserveBar, an online spirits destination.
