Giant news for fans of Big Blue

Football season looms, and the world-champion New York Giants are still riding a high that peaked in the final seconds of last season's Super Bowl.

on Aug. 21 will release the DVD "The Complete History of the New York Giants," and it's a doozie, with two hours of new footage. ($26.97 SRP)

The DVD details almost 90 years of Giants football, and while you may recall a 2004 version of the set, it doesn't include the last two Super Bowl wins over the Patriots. The set will be available in standard definition and for digital download.
The Giants open the NFL season in a big way, facing the Cowboys on Sept. 5.

MSG channel, meanwhile, said this week that it will have a "Giants Week" coming Monday with five nights of exclusive programming featuring the Jints. Kicking it off at 7:30 p.m. Monday, MSG will show three consecutive nights of “Live from Giants Training Camp,” followed by  “Giants Chronicles” with Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning on Thursday night and a “Giants Chronicles” mini-marathon Friday night before the champs take on the Chicago Bears in their second preseason game.
