Not many people were expecting CBS to being ruling the TV ratings not only in total numbers for young demos, but the financial crisis has apparently pushed viewers (young included) to the safe police procedurals and conventional sitcoms of CBS. "Worst Week" is one amusing (if plain old slapstick) example.
Strangely, NBC has given a full-season order to most critics' choice of worst show of the year, "Kath & Kim." See photo of the episode to air Nov. 13.
