Photos, notes from two sold-out performances of The Boss at Mohegan Sun this past weekend

Photos from the Bruce Springsteen concert at Mohegan Sun Arena that took place on Saturday evening, courtesy (with concert notes) from our friends at  Mohegan Sun. Bruce and the E. Street Band were back at it last night as well for the final show of the High Hopes tour. He started the evening by dousing the pit with champagne and from there played nearly 4 hours nonstop. He pulled in Stevie Van Zandt’s wife (Maureen) to dance at one point during “Dancing in the Dark”  and at other points took requests from the crowd, including a young girl's “Santa Clause Is Coming To Town." He also performed “Seven Angels” for the first time ever. These were also the only 2 shows for which Van Zandt joined the band on this tour, as he was in Norway filming “Lilyhammer.”

Both of these shows sold out very quickly when they went on sale back in February. Capacity for each night was just over 9,000 with seats opened up behind the stage.  More notes from these final two stops in Uncasville, CT are detailed on Springsteen’s website here as well: http://brucespringsteen.net/
